¡En Portugaleteko Aisialdi Sarea (PAS) no paramos de cruzar fronteras! Fieles a nuestra estrategia europea y con la mochila cargada de ilusión, nos hace especial ilusión anunciar el lanzamiento de un nuevo intercambio juvenil internacional dentro de las propuestas Erasmus+ KA151 en el ámbito de la juventud.

En esta ocasión, uniremos fuerzas y culturas con nuestros socios italianos de la Associazione Moving Europe, que cuentan además con el valioso apoyo institucional del Comune di Nizza di Sicilia.

¿Quiénes se embarcan en esta aventura?

Un total de 34 participantes darán vida a este proyecto:

• Desde Portugalete: 15 jóvenes de entre 16 y 18 años, acompañados por 2 líderes juveniles de PAS.
• Desde Italia: Otros 15 jóvenes de la misma edad junto a sus 2 líderes locales.

Para la gran mayoría de ellos y ellas, este proyecto supondrá su primera aproximación a los programas europeos, una oportunidad única para romper estereotipos, convivir en un entorno multicultural y vivir una experiencia personal que, estamos seguros, será inolvidable.

Dos países, dos fases: El calendario

El intercambio se ha diseñado en dos tandas consecutivas para que ambos grupos actúen como anfitriones y visitantes:

1. Fase Portugalete (Del 18 al 26 de julio): Abriremos las puertas de nuestra villa para recibir al grupo italiano.
2. Fase Nizza di Sicilia (Del 30 de julio al 6 de agosto): Viajaremos hasta tierras sicilianas para sumergirnos en su cultura.

Un programa repleto de aprendizaje, cultura y acción

Durante los días que pasaremos juntos en Portugalete, hemos preparado un programa de actividades de educación no formal que combina lo mejor de nuestra identidad local con el compromiso global:

• Cultura y Tradición: Viviremos en primera persona las regatas de remo en la ría, probaremos los deportes rurales vascos (herri kirolak) y disfrutaremos del festival de folklore tradicional.
• Historia y Naturaleza: Descubriremos el Puente Bizkaia, pasearemos por Bilbao, visitaremos el Museo de la Paz de Gernika y exploraremos lugares mágicos como el Bosque de Oma o San Juan de Gaztelugatxe.
• Compromiso con el Entorno: Cambiaremos las aulas por la acción en una jornada en kayak en Getxo que incluirá una actividad de limpieza de playas.
• Espacio de Europa: Coordinados por nuestras voluntarias europeas, los jóvenes trabajarán diariamente en sus competencias y en la elaboración de su certificado oficial Youthpass. ¡Además, compartiremos una jornada de convivencia con otro intercambio juvenil que estará conectado de forma simultánea con Portugal!

Conectando a la juventud jarrillera con Europa

Este proyecto no es una casualidad. Gracias a que Portugaleteko Aisialdi Sarea cuenta con la Acreditación Erasmus+, podemos seguir garantizando actividades internacionales con los más altos estándares de calidad y seguridad para los menores de nuestro municipio. Como sabéis por los proyectos de años anteriores que podéis consultar en este mismo blog, creemos firmemente en el poder transformador del voluntariado y la educación no formal.

Portugaleteko Aisialdi Sarea (PAS) elkartean ez gara gelditzen eta mugak zeharkatzen jarraitzen dugu! Gure europar estrategiari leial jarraituz eta poltsa ilusioz beteta, poz handiz iragartzen dugu gazte-trukaketa nazioarteko berri bat abian jarri dugula, gazteriaren esparruko Erasmus+ KA151 proposamenen barruan.

Oraingoan, indarrak eta kulturak batuko ditugu Italiako Associazione Moving Europe elkarteko bazkideekin, eta beraiekin batera, Comune di Nizza di Sicilia-ren udal-laguntza baliotsua ere izango dugu.

Nor izango da abentura honetan?

Guztira 34 parte-hartzailek emango diote bizia proiektu honi:

• Portugaletetik: 16 eta 18 urte bitarteko 15 gazte, PASeko 2 gazte-liderrekin batera.
• Italiatik: Adin bereko beste 15 gazte, beraien herrialdeko 2 liderrekin batera.

Parte-hartzaile gehienentzat, proiektu hau Europako programetara hurbiltzeko lehen aukera izango da; estereotipoak apurtzeko, kulturarteko ingurune batean bizitzeko eta esperientzia pertsonal paregabea eta ahaztezina izateko bide ezin hobea.

Bi herrialde, bi fase: Egutegia

Trukaketa bi txandatan diseinatu da, talde biek anfitrioi eta bisitari paperak bizi ditzaten:

1. Portugaleteko Fasea (Uztailaren 18tik 26ra): Gure herriko ateak zabalduko ditugu Italiako taldeari harrera egiteko.
2. Nizza di Siciliako Fasea (Uztailaren 30etik abuztuaren 6ra): Siziliara bidaiatuko dugu bertako kulturan murgiltzeko.

Ikaskuntzaz, kulturaz eta ekintzaz beteriko egitaraua

Portugaleten emango ditugun egunetan, gure tokiko nortasuna eta konpromiso globala uztartzen dituen hezkuntza ez-formaleko jarduera-egitarau bikaina prestatu dugu:

• Kultura eta Tradizioa: Estropadak zuzenean biziko ditugu itsasadarrean, herri kirolak probatuko ditugu eta gure folklore jaialdiaz gozatuko dugu.
• Historia eta Natura: Bizkaia Zubia ezagutuko dugu, Bilbotik ibiliko gara, Gernikako Bakearen Museoa bisitatuko dugu eta Omako Baso Margotua edo Gaztelugatxe bezalako leku magikoak arakatuko ditugu.
• Ingurumenarekiko Konpromisoa: Ikasgelak ekintzagatik aldatuko ditugu Getxon, kayak jardunaldi batekin, eta bertan hondartzak garbitzeko ekintza bat burutuko dugu.
• Europako Gunea: Gure europar boluntarioek koordinatuta, gazteek beraien gaitasunak eta Youthpass ziurtagiri ofiziala landuko dituzte egunero. Gainera, aldi berean Portugalekin konektatuta egongo den beste gazte-trukaketa batekin topaketa eta bizikidetza eguna ospatuko dugu!

Proiektu hau ez da kasualitatea. Portugaleteko Aisialdi Sareak Erasmus+ Egiaztapena duenez, gure udalerriko adingabeentzat kalitate eta segurtasun estandar goreneko nazioarteko jarduerak bermatzen jarrai dezakegu. Aurreko urteetako proiektuetan ikusi duzuen bezala (blog honetan bertan kontsulta ditzakezue), iritzi bera dugu: boluntariotzak eta hezkuntza ez-formalek indar eraldatzaile handia dute.

Next Stop: Sicily! Launching a New Erasmus+ Youth Exchange with Associazione Moving Europe

At Portugaleteko Aisialdi Sarea (PAS), we never stop crossing borders! True to our European strategy and packed with excitement, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new international youth exchange under the Erasmus+ KA151 youth initiatives.

For this adventure, we are joining forces and cultures with our Italian partners from Associazione Moving Europe, who also count on the valuable institutional support of the Comune di Nizza di Sicilia.

Who is embarking on this journey?

A total of 34 participants will bring this project to life:

• From Portugalete: 15 youth aged 16 to 18, accompanied by 2 youth leaders from PAS.
• From Italy: 15 youth of the same age, along with 2 local leaders.

For the vast majority of them, this project will be their very first approach to European programs—a unique opportunity to break down stereotypes, live in a multicultural environment, and experience an unforgettable personal journey.

Two Countries, Two Phases: The Timeline

The exchange is designed in two consecutive phases so that both groups experience being both hosts and guests:

1. Portugalete Phase (July 18th to 26th): We will open our town’s doors to welcome the Italian group.
2. Nizza di Sicilia Phase (July 30th to August 6th): We will travel to Sicilian lands to immerse ourselves in their culture.

A Program Packed with Learning, Culture, and Action

During the days spent together in Portugalete, we have prepared a non-formal education program that combines the best of our local identity with global citizenship:

• Culture and Tradition: We will experience the traditional rowing regattas on the estuary, try out Basque rural sports (herri kirolak), and enjoy our traditional folklore festival.
• History and Nature: We will discover the Bizkaia Bridge, stroll through Bilbao, visit the Gernika Peace Museum, and explore magical sites like the Painted Forest of Oma or San Juan de Gaztelugatxe.
• Environmental Commitment: We will swap classrooms for action during a kayaking day in Getxo, which will include a beach clean-up activity.
• European Space: Coordinated by our European volunteers, the participants will work daily on their skills and develop their official Youthpass certificate. Plus, we will share a community day with another simultaneous youth exchange connected with Portugal!

Connecting the Youth of Portugalete with Europe

This project is no coincidence. Thanks to Portugaleteko Aisialdi Sarea holding the official Erasmus+ Accreditation, we can continue to guarantee international activities with the highest standards of quality and safety for our local youth. As you already know from our previous years’ projects (which you can check right here on this blog), we firmly believe in the transformative power of volunteering and non-formal education.
